Java Full Stack Developer: An Asset to Software Development

Java has been reigning as one of the most wanted programming languages on a global scale. It is apt for creating various software applications like mobile development, cloud-based applications, backend development, IoT, Big Data, etc.

High-level concurrency, simplistic syntax, platform independence, security, robustness, portability, and support for object-oriented programming features such as abstraction, encapsulation, and inheritance are some of the critical characteristics of Java – the reasons why it is so popular.

With Java application development increasing in popularity and full stack development also in vogue, the modern-day concept of Java full stack is picking up pace. Java full stack aims at a software development methodology wherein all layers of the applications are created using Java.

It focuses on frontend technologies, backend technologies, and database integration, and simplifies the entire development process through a single language and tech stack.

A full-stack Java developer creates robust and scalable applications using Java as the prime programming language at all levels. They aim to gain expertise in top frameworks like React JS, Angular JS, Node JS, Spring Boot, Bootstrap, etc.

Who is a Java Full Stack Developer?

A full-stack Java developer is competent in creating the application’s frontend, backend, database, server, API, and version control systems. Java is the primary language, supported by modern technologies, frameworks, and languages. The developer must have total command over the Java language and associated components like servlets, core Java, APIs, web architecture, etc.

As competent software professionals, Java full-stack developers must be able to shuttle between the different components of the applications quickly. They are accountable for developing wholesome Java-based applications, using frontend development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; backend development with Spring and Hibernate; database integration using SQL, and NoSQL; server-side technologies like Node JS, and Docker; deployment tools like Jenkins, etc.
